Delete Your Account

Upon successful account deletion, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your name, email address, phone number, and profile details.
• All course progress, bookmarks, and saved notes.
• Test history, performance analytics, and AI-generated reports.
• AI Course Buddy chat history.
• Payment history and receipts (subject to legal retention requirements).

Data Retained for Legal & Operational Reasons

Certain non-personal data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate operational purposes:

• Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics (no personal identifiers).
• Financial transaction records required by Indian tax law (GST compliance) for up to 7 years.
• Fraud-prevention and security logs (up to 12 months).

You can submit a deletion request by either of the following methods:

Option A — Email Request

1. Send an email from your registered address

   Write to support@adhyayanapp.in with the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".

2. Include your registered phone number

   So we can verify your identity and match your account. Requests from non-matching email addresses cannot be processed.

3. We'll confirm within 5 business days

   We will send a confirmation email and process the deletion within 30 days of verification.

Option B — Online Request Form

Fill in the form below and our team will process your request after identity verification.

1. Request Received

   We acknowledge your request within 48 hours of submission.

2. Identity Verification

   We verify the request matches your registered account (within 5 business days).

3. Data Deletion

   All personal data is permanently removed from our systems (within 30 days of verification).

4. Confirmation Sent

   We send a final confirmation email confirming your account and data have been deleted.
